Railway on Coast
A poposal to build, a railway along the East Coast from Gisborne to Opotiki was discussed by Mr W. W. Jonasen, Labour candidate for the Bay of Plenty electorate, when speaking in the Makaraka-Mata-whero Hall on Wednesday n?ght. He said that the Hon. R. Semple had said that the long-term policy was to take the railway along that route, and Mr Semple was oix; of Hie best. Public Works Ministers New Zealand had ever had.
