Further meetings in this area for, the purpose of selecting representatives on the Eastern Bay ol' Plenty Primary Production Councils are advertised in this issue and concern the Thornton district (Thornton Hall) a<t 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24th and the Omokoroa riding (Mr W. R. Boon's residence) at 7.45 p.m. on Monday, August. 23rd. Primary producers, are urged to take note of these dates Building Committees Under the Essential Building Works Labour Legislation Modification Order., 1!)-1.'5, which A\*as gazetted on June 17, authority was by the Minister of Works lor the setting up in each district of a local building committee, comprising two members as representatives, of the employers appointed by the Minister of Works, together with a chair' man appointed by the Minister.
