Concreting and Kerbing

The Whakatane Borough Council lias decided to proceed with the kerbing and channelling of the western side of Douglas Street to the. residence of Mr F. Prideaux providing that property owners will contribute £2 each towards the cost of eu'verting the watertable which is in a had state of repair. Other work of this nature to be put in hand is from the Lovelock to Haig Street corners on King Street, lhe latter work was undertaken at the instigation of the Methodist Church Trustees.
