Steel Helmets Retained . Under instructions from the Dominion Controller members of the local, E.P.S. personnel will retain the steel helmets, originally issued to> them. Supplementary Roll Readers are reminded of the recent statement made by the Prime Minister to the effect that the Sup- , plcmentary Electoral Roll will close at G p.m. on August 80. This leaves slightly over two weeks for electors who are not already on the roll to become enrolled. Electoral officers have been experiencing difficulty with enrolment applications which have been carelessly made out, and in such cases it has been necessary to return these forms to the applicants for corrcction. Those desirous of being included oil the roll arc therefore* urged to> make early application so that, in the ease of any en-or being made in the filling in of their application forms, they may be returned to the electoral officer before the closing date. Any application which is not in before: the closing date and filled in correctly, will be treated as informal, and the applicant will not. be entitled to vote.
