PERSONAL
Word lias been received by Mr and Mrs Signal, of Edgecumbe, that their son Sgt R. V. Signal, arrived safely at his destination. Amongst those returned from overseas •was Sgt Dvr. Ollie Martin who revisited Whakatane earlier in the week and renewed o'.d acquaintances. Pte William C. Larsen, of Edgecumbe, arrived back in New Zealand from the Middle East about three weeks ago being invalided home and will be arriving in Whakatanc to-night.
