COMPLIMENTARY DINNER
THE MEN ON LEAVE A gesture Avliich was warmly appreciated by the men now on furlough from the Middle. East was the complimentary dinner in their honour provided by Mr and Mrs Nev. Bremner. mine host and hostess of the Commercial Hotel. The dinner which was described us par excellence took place last Saturday evening and was everything that such an event should be. In expressing their thanks and appreciation the jaien who attended stated that the spread' was as good as they had seen anywhere and mareover they contended that the company and friendly atmosphere that obtained throughout, coukl not be beaten.
