Guptili pleaded guilty to driving a lieaA*y truck at a speed exceeding 25 miles per hour Avas alleged by Mr Carling to have touched 40 1 m.p.li. Fined £2 and. costs 22s 6d. Speeding Truck T. F. Hurndle (Mr B. S. Barry) pleaded not guilty to exceeding the sliced limit, on June 4 last. Inspector Carling said he had folloAA T ed defendant and checked his speed at three, different points when he reached 50 m.p.h. Defendant said that he had. a governor on his truck at the time which only allowed his vehicle' to do 40 m.p.h.
