LONG WHAKATANE LIST

SITTING LAST 'WFFK

Sine die adjournments were granted in most cases, though as the chairman stated, it was necessary to go carefully into details once again. In most eases the. reservists were engaged in farming or were holding key positions in industry. An air force volunteer Robert Flavcll, on whose behalf the P.W.D. appealed declared that he was most keen to get away and objected strenuously to the appeal. E. stated that his lirm had been drastically cut down in staff and was always weeks behind schedule in dealing with the worUv it had to undertake.
