Sectional Ties In the junior sectional Coekerell 98—22 —76 is the winner of section 3. Players, who did not hand in their cards, and thus Avere ineligible for the cup fixtures will participate in a stableford bogey sweep. Rehandicap Don Luxton will now play off the 20 marik as from July 21. Cup Matches The Fortune, and Founders Cup matches are played on handicap. All matches must be played at the week-end specified. 1942- Labour- TTourney The net proceeds of the tournament held last year during the Labour week-end, realised the sum of £28 13s. 6d, this amount was devided between the Whakatane, Awakeri and Thornton Patriotic Committees. The tournament committee wish to express their grateful thanks to alt golfers who participated in the tournament and thus helped to make it the success it was. It is to be hoped that the same, spirit. Avill prevail when the club will hold its nexb tournament at the coming Labour week-end.
