BOY SCOUTS PERFORMANCE The Craigellachie (Scottish) troop of Boy Scouts lickl a field day on Saturday firing their course for the Marksmanship Badge. The course was lired under service conditions at 25 yards range each Scout having two sighted shots prior to firing the competition. The Scouts qualifying for the badge were as under:-— Possible 50 points. Some exceptionally good shooting was done two Scotlts scoring the possible off the rifle. Results; were.: Law, Malcolm 25 25 50 Patcrson, George 25 25 50 Thomas, Bruce 25 24 49 Thomas,, Barry 25 24 49 McKenzic, Don 24 24 4.8 Law, lan 25 23 48 Runciman, Alan 23 23 46 Patcrson. Lan 24 20 44 Torrie, Graham 23 20 43 Comiskcy, Pat 21 19 40

The scores of most of the above are so phenomenally high that Scoutmaster Thomas who supervised the shoot has submitted, the targets to us for verification. Our only com~ ment is that the performance for so young a group is really excellent. Ed.)
