WORK OF PLUNKET SOCIETY

WITH the approach of the annual meeting of the Whakatane branch of the New Zealand Plunket Society we are once again reminded of the vital work which is being performed quietly and efficiently in our midst. A.ll too little is known of the wonderful service which* has been initiated in this district and upon which mothers of young children have learnt to rely. like all good constructive movements the Plunket Society languishes for lack of interest, and possibly the worst offenders are those very people who receive the greatest benefit. A date to be kept in mind therefore is Wednesday, July 20th, when the annual meeting takes place. '
