KIRKBRIDE v COUNTY COUNCIL MAGISTRATE TO INSPECT The court proceedings instituted by Mr G. Kirkbridc (Mr B. S. Barry) against the Whakatane County Council (Mr T. E. Hamerton) after being repeatedly adjourned at previous court sittings were once again temporarily suspended .last Tuesday on the representations of the County representative -who stated that one of his main witnesses was 'indisposed . Both parties requested that the Magistrate should make an inspection of the road in question before the. hearing. The Magistrate (Mr E. L. "Walton) agreed, providing that this took place on the daj r of ttui court sitticg. The case was adjourned till August 3.
