The annual general meetingof the Rangitaiki Sub-branch of ' the Plunket Society was held at Bell's Hall, Edgecumbe, on Wednesday, Slay 19. Sirs Alex Thomson was elected president and Sirs .1. H. Rus-
sell secretary-treasurer, elected: Slesdames J. Andersen, D. Allan, S. Carter, 'L. Cunningham, A. J. Hopkirk.'P. Jessup, W. Ley, E. List* J. Nowland, J. B. Thomas and S. Yardley.
A vote, of thanks was passed to the retiring president, Sirs W. Ley, andc bo Sir R. E. Blair for his services as hon. auditor^
