WORK IN WHAKATANE

MONTHLY M EET ING

The following members were present at tiie monthly meeting of the AYhakatane branch of the New Zealand Plunket Society held on Monday last: Mesdames Cairns (president), Caisley, Runciman, Spring, and Morpeth lion, secretary. The secretary advised that the president's report, nurses report and balance sheets for Whakatane branch Taneatua, Opotiki and Rangitaiki sulj branches were , all practically ready for printing. It was decided to hold the annual general meeting in approximately three weeks time, the time and place to be advertised in due course. An electric kettle, purchased recently from the. Whakatane Radio and Electrical Co. has been kindly donated by the firm. The secretary was instructed to write thanking the linn for their generous donation.
