NURSING DIVISION

ACTIVITIES AT EDGECUMBE

The work of the St. John Nursing Division at Edgecumbe is growing steadily and members are keen to address themselves to local needs should any arise. Meetings are held fortnightly with Mrs B. Cowie, Divisional Superintendent, in control. Lectures have already been given by Mrs Eric Haultain and Mrs Frank Sumner, and it is hoped to arrange for many similar addresses in future. Already the work of the Division has been demonstrated on several occasions where first aid has been administered as a result of accidents and those who require further information or assistance should get in touch either with the Superintendent or the Ambulance Sister, Mrs J. Jamieson.
