ga\ r e an interesting and vi\id description of h|s recent visit to Makogai, Fiji!,. Samoa and Tonga. He stressed the desirability bf the Board extending its Avork to other Islands in the Pacific. During the last. IS months no fewer than 100 patients Avere discharged from the Central Station of Makogai and much credit for this remarkable achievement is due to the Ncav Zealand public for the sympathy shown to the sufferers in their trials;. Dr. L. C. L. AverilJ, representing the British Medical Association in Christehurch, congratulated the Trust Board on its Avork. Canon F. B. Redgrave, representing the Melanesian Mission (Anglican) thank ed. the Board for its: assistance to the Lepers under their charge in the South Solomons.
