YOUNG FARMERS DANCE

The. successful dance held in the ,Waimaha hall last Thursday evening under tlie auspices of the Young Farmers' Club was well patronised. The profits from the function are to be used to forward parcels to members of the. local Y.F.C. serving overseas. Mr A. Wardlaw and his Melody Boys supplied the dance

music, and extras were played by Messrs. G. Wartllaw. A. Bell, M. Burke. Mr D. Wool field acted as M.C. most capably. A box of chocolates for competition was. won by Mr B. Hughes Jnr. and a cake donated by Mrs Ron Macdonaid, avus won by Mir E. P. Woolfield. The novelty dances were most popular. Mr Ron Macdonaid on behalf of the Y.F.C. in well chosen words thanked all present for their at, tendance and help, which made the dance the success it was. Dancing continued until a late hour.
