WELL DONE TANEATUA

THE latest report from the secretary of the Zone Patriotic Committee* shows that the Taneatua and Opouriao district has once again repeated the performance of last year's effort and has over paid its quota. The total sum handed in, is £936 2s 2d, which eclipses the quota for that district by a matter of £14 2s 2d. This achievement from a district of less than 1500 of a population, and before the half the year has passed is something of which those responsible may well be proud. Taneatua has set an example. to all other centres in Zone 'K,' and we have no hesitation in complimenting the residents in that area on their splendid community spirit, their industry, their enthusiasm and their powers of organisation.
