POST-WAR VISION
WORK OF THE R.S.A. APPEAL FOR EQUIPMENT In a recent circular the Whok;v tane branch of the R.S.A. drawn attention to the work of rehabilitation. It states that the farmers'' of t!?e Whakatane County have been circularised asking for promises of livestock etc. as a donation to the Returned Services' Association ft>V use of Returned Servicemen as they are rehabilitated. A particularly good response 's being obtained and country people are being most generous. Townspeople are now being approached for promises of articles which will be of assistance to returned mci* who are desirous of starting again where they left off to go overseas. Promises of donations of cash or goods to be made available are solicited. Suggestions of suitable gifts to be donated when required are carpenter, engineers and farming tools, work-clothing and articles of furniture or equipment, in fact it is considered that use can be made of any article donated. Would-be donors arc asked to get in touch with the secretary c>f the R.S.A., Mr C. A. Head.
