Formal notice has been served oil he Wliakatanc County Council by Messrs Suckling and Barry giving notice under Section 14 of the Counties' Amendment Act 1927 that Mr Gilbert Kirkbride. of Waimana; faiv mer, intends to take action in the Magistrate's Court at Whakatane against the 1 Whakatane County Council requiring it to show cause why a notice under Scction 148 of the Public Works Act 1928 should not issue as set out in Petition bearing date the. 14th day of December 1942, considered by the council on the 22nd December 1942. Mir Kirkbride's solicitor is Mr B. S.
