THEATRE DISTURBANCE

INCIDENT AT TANEATUA

TWO MAORIS FINED

The result of a disturbance at the Taneatua Hall on the evening of the lOtli April whilst the pictures were being shown, lead to the appearance of Reg Trainor and Tci Nohotima, of lluatoki, before Messrs Moody and Hayward, J's.P., at the Taneatua Court on 27th April charged with fighting and disturbing the audience in the theatre. Both were fined £1 and costs £1 on the first charge and £1 each on the second charge.
