WELL ATTENDED ANZAC
PARADE
Anzac Daj 7 was marked at Taneatua last Sunday by the largest parade and assemblage on record. Mustered at the hotel corner, the units of the R.S.xi., Home Guard and W.W.S.A. under command of Lieut .T. Shaw marched to the theatre, where the address of 'remembrance' was given by the Rev. Steele. Mr A. McGougan, County representative, presided. At the conclusion of the service the wreaths which had been brought for the occasion were, taken by members of the U.S.A. and laid upon the graves of ex-soldiers in the local cemetery.
