OBITUARY
MR ARTHUR SWANNELL
The death occurred at the Hospital, Gisbornc, of Mr Arthur Swanncll on April 5. He was a veteran of the last Avar and served in the Imperial Forces. He was bom in London '(54 years ago Avhere be lived until 18 years ago when he came to New Zealand and Avas eixiployed on the railway construction works fft Kopuawhara and Taneatua. His wile Avhom he married in Kensington, London, mourns Ms loss ' with two sons and live' daughters— the "family comprising of Mrs- Mick-— rouse, Tukerenui; Mrs D. Ij'cycL. Karapiro; Mrs H. Taylor, Kopun— wham; Mrs D. Higgins, Kopuawhara; Mrs J. Widdemott, Hamilton; Messrs R. A. and W. Swaty*< nell with the overscase force?, and Mr R. H. Dowsing, Whangaroa, am adopted son. There arc also 14 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs B. F. Grace, Taneatua, and two brothers in England. The interment took place at the Taruhero Cemetery on April U.
