THE BOROUGH TEAM The star competition has now reached a critical stage, and the Borough Council is taking a very serious view of the position. After much discussion between councillors and u staff—three of the City fathers and one member of the staff (outside) have been selected to go into committee and, appoint a team. Although there ;is a plumber on this committee, several leaks have occurred and it transpires that the majority was of the opinion that the best team would be four coun-< cillors but finally decided to select themselves. It is interesting therefore to know that players in the Borough team take in Hillcrest, the Heads, all the residential area and as far afield as Awakaponga. Saturday will tell whether this team is the cream or merely the bubble.
