PAPER COLLECTION TO-MORROW
TO-MORROW will see collected throughout Zone II within the Borough, waste paper of any description which may be utilised for repulpir\g, and thus help forward the country's war effort. Already we have published details of the area concerned but for the benefit of those who failed to take note of them, it extends in a rough rectangle from (Valley Road to King Street, taking in all the dwellings on the Eastern side of that street. All residences in the intervening streets will be visited and it is hoped to realise a substantial' improvement on the initial collection in Zone I two week's ago when six wool packs resulted. The committee reports that to date as a result of its anti-waste campaign it already has £20" in hand which sum will be; devoted toward the Borough Patriotic quota for the current year.
