Allen, Topp,, Cantrell and Caisley 27 beat Taylor, Shaplcy, Samon and Walker 11. Bridger, . Head,, Buekman and Sloane 22 beat Murphy, Mbllgaard, McLean and Pearson 14. Grace, J. Bell and E. J. Bell 24 beat Smith, Otley and Tippet t. 16. Winner of Singles Championship in a keen play off for the final of the senior singles championship A. C. King defeated C. Loane. The congratulations of the club are. due both these men on reaching the final, particularly to the neAv champ who played consistently well throughout. .Smith Stars The challenges for the Smith Stars resulted in keenly contested games. McKenzie,-- Chamberlain, Currah and Luxton lost to Mcintosh, Darvill Francis and Littlejohn McKenzie, Hayward, Alexander and Littlejohn 28 v Carling, Hollis. McLeod and Loane 15. The handicap pairs final was won by Currah and Smith. It was interesting" to note that. Smith in this final game, was substituting for the late Mr J. Healey, who with Currah had reached the final prior to Mr Healey's illness. The trophy attached to this competition is to be handed by the club to Mrs Healey. Bowlers are all pleased to see Messrs B. W. Baxter and Jack Hell-» yar again at the greens, although they arc so for contented (?) onlookers.
