WAIMANA SPORTS MEETING
TO-MORROW will see the staging of the most ambitious public occasion yet planned in Waimana. The gymkhana and sports meeting which has for the past six weeks qc-: cupied the hard-working executive represents a community effort upon a scale hitherto never attempted. It's success, which we do not doubt for a moment, depends entirely upon the patronage it receives from the surrounding dis-' tricts, and we therefore extend this further reminder to .all who enjoy a colourful athletic meeting and mounted: for the past three months will be dictated by the course a point' of;. attending. A Highland Dancing section will also be run under the control of the Whakatane Caledonian
Society and the Pipe Band will enliven proceedings in 4 common. with the. Boys' Band. This is an occasion which all can help.
