COUNTY COUNCIL'S MOVE INVITATION TO BOROUGH "Well it certainly is refreshing to see the Counity Council! moving in this direction after all the difficulties it made in the-past,'» said the Mayor, Mr B. Barry, at the monthly meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council, when discussing a letter from the County Council inviting a delegation to attend a joint conference on the question of establishing, an aero-» drome in the district. 2 Mr Barry added that past e x per ie eiiee 011 the question of an acro--1 drome had shown the County to be 3 most disinterested until Mr Cliff Mc- - Cullocli became chairman.
