Rowers of the Future At the recent, meeting called for the purpose of making the Rowing Club's shed weather proof, it was pointed out by Mr Partridge that a number of youths from the town were keen to be given the chance of training in the Club's skiffs. These young fellows, lie said, were a good type and were prepared to look after the boats under supervision and also train as members for the time- when the club was properly established. The meeting .set up a Trust. Committee, part of the duties of. which will be to see tha v i the boys, receive encouragement in their effort, and also tuition in rowing and handling the skiffs.
