ALLOCATION FOR THE YEAR NOT FINALLY FIXED In response to a letter from the Zone K Secretary,' Mr C. G. Lucas, the following reply has been received from the secretary of the Auckland! Provincial Patriotic Council:— ft National Fund levy after adjustment on account of the Government grant for Prisoner of War parcels is £251,000, weir fare purposes £98,000 and' Provincial expenses £70,000 making a total of £419,000. Zone K's share of this would be £13,611 but certain adjustments have to be made. The 1942 quotas have to be reduced j to conform with the reduced expenditure of the Patriotic Fund Board but it isi niot quite pos* sibl!e ,at the moment to give the net quotas for the year. Your zone's share however of the Nartional Fund Budget is iin round figures £10,937.
