BOROUGH SUPPORT
ROWING CLUB'S SHED FUND The Mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, at last night's meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council took a further lead in the movement to raise funds for renovating the Rowing Club's shed' by appealing to citizens; generally for support. The council voted £5 5s which: sum was augmented by a further two guineas each donated by Crs Sullivan and 1 Canning.
