COUNCILS DEDICATION TERMS DEVELOPMENT COSTS £-181 Messrs Potts and Hodgson of Opotiki who arc handling the subdivision proposal of that area in the Whakatane Borough known as the 'Washer Block' have -written the Borough Council on the matter of road dedication and asking if the council would endorse its consent on the plan of subdivision if their client was to deposit money sufficient to cover street construction costs. The Foreman-Engineer's estimate of cost, covering road and two path formation, kerbing and channeling and water reticulation was £481 10s. The council for its part has decided to indicate it's willingness to accept dedication upon the cost of street, 'construction, :is estimated bj* the Foreman-Engineer, being deposited witli it; alternatively, upon the street being formed to that .standard: the. foregoing subject to confirmation that the plan of subdivision was lodged in the office of the District Land Regislnir prior to July 1-1, 1024, front which date the council's minimuiju frontage and area by-law applies.
