ST. JOHN AMBULANCE TESTS
EXAMINATIONS AT MANAWAIiE
Home Guard and E.P.S. members attended an examination at Man awake' last week for the first, year test under St. John Ambulance training. Twenty-five of a class of thirty-two sat for the examination which was conducted by Dr. F. J. Appleby who pronounced himself as highly pleased with the standard of knowledge which had been attained in the first year. Those who sat were Mrs R. McPherson, Mrs E. Forbes. Mrs M. Kane, Mrs C. King, Mrs- G. Goldsmith, Mrs I. Rimmer, Miss P. Walker, Miss G. Relf. Miss G. Kendall, Miss I. Fenton, Miss N. King, Miss; D. Kendall, Miss L Mikkelsen, Miss J.i Mikkelsen. Mr G. Edge, Mr S. King, Mr E. Goldsmith, Mr H. Rimmer, Mr W. Rimmer, Mr J. Skene, Mr F. Kelmsley, Mr J.- Steele. M;r R. Rimmer. Mr ■(). Meredith. Wainui Class There were twelve settlers from a class of twenty at the Wainui examinations which were conducted by Dr. Fletcher Cole and which also drew the congratulations of the examiner.
