ENGINEER'S MONTHLY REPORT In his report to the Borough Council last Monday evening, Mr F. W. Lysaght, Borough Electrical Engineer, stated as under: — " Stewart Street Substation: This new substation has now been completed and will be put in service as soon as the hospital alterations are completed by the contractor. Street Light Fittings: A start lias been made with the painting and cleaning of all street lighting fittings in the Borough. New Consumers-: The following new installations have been inspected and connected to the supply also a number of alterations and additions: Ranges 3; hotwater cylinders 1. Water Works Department The pumping plants have been iri service every day during the month, and arc in fair order. The water has now cleared considerably. Building Permits The following .permits, issued dut> ing the month are as follows: Additions to workshop 1; garage 1; shed 1; residence 1. Total 4.. The values of the above buildings was £319 19s*
