A Modest President J Jovial Bill Henderson profl'eren some excellent advice to beginners in the ancient game of bowls, when as president of the Whakatane Club, he made the appropriate speech at last Saturday's official opening. "Stick to your game," he said, "practice hard and continually, and if you do that you may even become as good a bowler as me."'
