THE 81-WEEKLY BASIS
COMMENCES NEXT WEEK Commencing next week the BEACON will publish the first issues of its future biweekly service, made necessary owing to the serious shortage of paper stocks and war conditions. The paper will be published on TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS atnd will be the same size as in the past, observing the same publication hours and the same method's of distribution. The paper will it is hoped present a better classification of news, a greater volume and' variety and if possible more-. numerous local features.
