HAS THE ABILITY Having liis first race since the 1939-40 season, Hunting King was responsible for a solid performance when lie ran second to Charivari in the Trial Plate last Saturday. IN FIRST RATE CONDITJON Nothing of a serious nature has been required of Cherry s Ticket since she raced at the Pakuranga meeting, but no fault can be found with her condition. This (illy started the new season well. F. Gilchrist should have little difficulty in getting more money with the daughtel of Croupier and Ticket.
