NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN
TO-DAY will see commenced at Taneatua the first lecture of a series to be given in this district by the Tutor-organiser of the W.E.A., Mrs Johnson. The. course as stated in our Monday's issue is dedicated to the education, of adults along lines of modern thought,, with particular emphasis upon the needs of the average housewife who as a rule enjoys few if any of the opportunities of contacting a person who has made a life study of psychology- Mrs Johnson's visit last year was thoroughly appreciatedi by all who made the effort to attend her lectures (set down for 10.30 a.m. in order to provide the utmost latitude and convenience for country womenfolk). Whakatane alone awaits the completion of arrangements for a visit from Mrs Johnson, but it is understood that details are now well on the way to include this centre in her itinerary.
