At the week-end the Mrricd. Men of Edgecumbe defeated the Single Men by 31 runs at Central ground. Batting first the Single Men compiled 62 the only double figure score being that of Warren 37 Avhicli included. 3-Gs. Starting well the married men ■toolk their score to 93. Michael 35 and Phillips 33 batting excellently the latter retiring. Magee bowling 5 overs took U for IS. The single men following on compiled 37 for 4 wickets when stumps were drawn.
