TRAFFIC MANAGER'S ADVICE

The Whakatane branch of the N.Z. Road; Services has received the following advice from Mr G. S. Reid, District Traffic Managed:— Permits to travel may now be issued for journeys on and after Monday 14th. Passengers are advised that in the event of train services being curtailed 1 all reservations and permits will be cancelled and it will be neces-

sary for intending passengers to obtain fresh permits and rebook their seats. Passengers are advised to watch the dailynewspapers for any announcements.
