ONLY FIT MEN
TYPES FOR OVERSEAS
FROM 21 TO 40
In a statement last Saturday, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan reiterated thiait the Government had no intention of sending overseas members of the territorial force under the age of 21. Thie acting Prime Minister added that it would be realised that under the National Service Emergency Regulations, every male member of any armed force was liable as such for service wherever he was required, whether in New Zealand or elsewhere. Circumstances in the future might require a change of policy regarding , the despatch of men both under the agle of 21 and over 41 for service overseas, but for the present only those fit men who have reached 21 and have not attained 41 would be sent overseas.
