MATCH WITH TAURANGA Last Saturday 'the Wliakatane basketball team visited Tauranga and played two matches. The results of the games are as follows: — Tauranga A 22, Wliakatane 8. Tauranga B G, Wliakatane 17. The following players represented Wliakatane: M. Lyons, R. Howat, P. Carter, M. Howat, M. Reardon, T. Zinsli, M. Berg. B. Howat, S. Cave, H. Cave, H. Wilson. On Saturday the sth of September Wliakatane Reserves will play Paroa at 2.15 p.m. Wliakatane Reserves: M. Carter (Capt), M. Lyons, 13. Pearson: I. Sullivan, G. Graell. J. Bridgcr: S. Cave, S. Donaldson, N. Crozier. On the 12th of September ;u Knockout Tournament will be held commencing at 2 p.m.
