Writing the County Council yesterelay Mr K. A. Knight advised that it was decided, at a meeting of the Edgecumbe Catholic Church Committee, to accept the council's .suggestion of 29th July, providing lhat the area of the section be not less than one-third of an acre, to be measured and also for the council to give car access to the section by way of a culvert. Such decision of the Church Committee was subject to> the approval of Bishop Liston, it was stated. The council resolved that the matter be held in abeyance pending receipt of valuation of proposed Edgecumbe reserve.
