GARDENS PLUNDERED
ACTS OF VANDALISM
COMPLAINTS FROiM KO'PIv'JPKO
Residents who have taken a considerable pride in their gardens in the Ivopeopeo area complain that recently their properties have been despoiled by certain irresponsible people, who not merely pick the flowers hilt actually seem to U.Vac a delight in senselessly disfiguring their gardens.
Instances in Stewart Street have
been reported where on several nights recently gardens have been ransacked. The deliberate nature of these acts of vandalism is demonstrated by the fact that persons responsible capped off their theft by ripping the plants out by the roots and arranging them along the front fence. Such utter absence of all decency deserves the- greatest contempt and the assistance of all right minded citizens is sought in bringing the culprits to book.
