S. Kianlellffe. Hon. Secretary and TreaisUfef; M" F. Patience. Hon. Auditor-: Mr R. E. Blair. Delegate to the Inter-zone Committee: Mr D. S. RadclifTev, Committee l : Mesdantes A. Marx, J. Carter, S. Moody, J. Jamkson, R. Burgees; Messrs Goav, Nielsen, A. Marx, S. Moody, T. Bell, AV .A. ftlcCracken, J. E. Blacfa, A. Thompson, . J. Russell( A. Ros.sell. The balance sheet which Avas read ' and adopted showed' the following , items:-- 1 Income: By donations £440 lis lOd; | socials £115 12s sd; selutfol donations £17 3s 2d; interest £4 0s 6d; shop , £2. lis Id. Expenditure: To donations to In-ter-zone Committee £425; advertising 15s; stationery 7s 3d;' hall hire , 4s; soldiers' 1 comforts £8 15s 6d; excess of income over expenditure transferred to accumulated funds £144 16s 4d. £570 16s UOd. To complete the quota for the current year's appeal a fairly large sum is still required. Those residents Avlio lia\'e not yet subscribed are requested to do their duty to the oA r erseas by sending their donations to the secretary without delay. SeA T eral letters been received from soldiers in the Middle East and elseAAhcre oA r erseas acknowledging Avith gratitude, rcceipt of parcels sent by the local committee. It is hoped by the end of the year, that this district Avhich last year led Avith a surplus of £674, will again enjoy that singular distinction. I
