Second Lieut. Don Stewart, of Whakatane, is now at home with liis family on a 10 day furlough. Notice has been received by Dr. G. H. Maaka of Whakatane, that lie lias been appointed to a military hospital in the Wliangarei district. Dr and Mrs Maaka leave on Monday next for the north.
