SEQUEL TO PAPER SHORTAGE I TOBACCO TINS NOW USED The familiar pay envelope has disappeared in one Christchurieh firm for the duration of the war, at leasts Faced with a shortage of envelopes, this firm has secured a set of tobac- 1 co tins with the' name of the enw ployee affixed to the lid. and the pay is contained in these. After the Avorkcr has been paid his wages, Jess the various deductions which call forth the usual cry, "What's oft' this woelt?", he returns the tin to the cashier.
