DETAILS OF CONCESSIONS
Free 1 return travelling warrant will be issued to members of the New Zealand Temporary Staff stationed in camps and guards at vita! points where a medical board recommends a period of sick leave at home. The .availability of tlu: cheap week end rail tickets for soldiers has now been extended to seven days. Any member of the armed forces avlio because of illness, is unable to make the return journey to cam]) before the expiration of a rail ticket held, may be permitted to travel on his or her ticket on presentation of a sick leave pass up to and including the date to which such sick leave pass is available. It has been approved that all long distance bus fares, as distinct from subufban bus fares, for men proceeding on week-end leave, be subsidised by the Government to the extent of 50 per cent. The concession will apply only beUveen points not served by train and will be brought into operation as soon as possible.
