Mexico— The Spanish flag was ordered down— And the ships sailed home to London town — When Drake listened to a Royal address —- And kissed the hand of good Queen Bess. God rest your Majesty said he — "List to the Drums," they're calling me— To put the fleet to sea again— And drive the sons from the Spanish Main. Our sallormen steer in the —- Of Beattj-, Beresford, Nelson, Drake—■ Heroes, whose names will never die—Immortal as their battle cry.
