REGENT
' Robert Taylor makes his debut in Metro- Golchvyn, Mayer's "Billy the Kid" action-packed Technicolour production opening to-morrow at A the Regent Theatre. Atlliough Taylor was virtually born on a horse in Nebraska and has owned his ranch and stables since . one of Hollywood's, most popular stars, the new picture gives him liis first opportunity to show his riding ability on the screen. He has been asking for the chance for almost five years. Brian Lonlcvy heads a * jbrilliant supporting cast, which includes lan Hunter, Mary Howard, Gene Lockhart and Lon Chaney, Jr. GRAND Replete with assorted murders, a A large order of sinister suspects, a haunted house and a hundred howling cats, together, of course, with. * a rip-roaring rain and thunder storm, "'The Black Cat," opens at . the Grand Theatre to-night and to- ; morrow. Universal indeed has made an imposing array of the chill and i comedy experts in the cast, includ- - ing Basil Rathbone, Hugh Herbert, Broil Crawford, Bela Lugosi.
